Our Fall 2023 interns, Maya and Michaela, led a group through a discussion at the GNAM in Rome, discussing classical reverberations in Italian modern art. The GNAM's "Time is Out of Joint" model of curation is of particular interest in this discussion, as it uses themes of art rather than temporal or stylistic organization. It allows for all periods and styles of art to work together in one space, allowing different interpretations for every individual.
